Style Slot is a salon-discovery, booking and management service operated by Luminex Brands. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, when it is shared and the choices available to you. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address, phone number, address and sign-in or verification records.
• Salon business information: business name and contact details, location, staff, operating hours, subscription status and other onboarding information.
• Service menus and bookings: services, prices, staff availability, favourites, appointments, cancellations and booking history.
• Device and log data: device and browser information, IP address, diagnostics, security logs and push-notification tokens. With permission, approximate location helps show nearby salons.
• Payment references: order identifiers, payment status, amount, purpose, promo discount and transaction references. Cashfree processes payments; Style Slot never stores full card numbers, CVV or full bank credentials.
• Support data: information you send through support, contact forms, email or WhatsApp.

Why we use it

We process data to provide salon discovery and booking; operate customer, salon-owner and admin accounts; manage salons, staff and services; process registration, subscriptions and payment status; send transactional updates; provide support; maintain security; prevent fraud and misuse; comply with legal obligations; and improve reliability.

Consent-based sharing

When you choose to book an appointment, we share your name and necessary contact and appointment details only with the salon you selected, so that salon can fulfil the booking. We do not disclose booking contact details to unrelated salons.

Infrastructure, email, notification, analytics and payment providers may process only the data needed to operate the service under contractual and security controls. Cashfree receives payment information directly. We may also disclose information when lawfully required or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal data and do not allow third parties to advertise using it.

Retention and security

• Active account, salon and booking data is retained while the account or business relationship remains active.
• After a verified deletion request, account data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days unless a longer period is legally required.
• Payment, invoice, completed-booking and fraud-prevention records may be retained for up to 8 years where accounting, tax, dispute or legal duties require it; direct account identifiers are minimised where possible.
• Operational security logs are normally retained for up to 90 days; backup copies cycle out within 90 additional days.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), role-based access controls, authenticated administration, restricted production access, monitoring and backups. No system is completely risk-free, but access is limited to people and processors with an operational need.

Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or export of your personal data, withdraw optional permissions, object to certain processing, or request account deletion. Some profile information can be corrected in the app. See the data-deletion instructions for an in-app or email request and our response timeline.

Payments, plans and refunds

Salon onboarding includes a ₹989 + GST one-time registration fee, followed by a 60-day trial, then ₹549 + GST per month. Monthly billing can be cancelled anytime; cancellation stops future renewal and does not erase records we must legally retain. Payment processing is provided by Cashfree. For refund eligibility or a payment dispute, contact support with the relevant order reference.

Children and policy changes

Style Slot is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when products, processors or law change. Material changes will receive a new version and updated date.

Contact and grievance officer

For privacy, rights, deletion, payment or grievance requests, email support@luminexbrands.com with the subject “Style Slot privacy request”, or use the support form. The Grievance Officer, Style Slot Privacy Team, Luminex Brands, will acknowledge privacy grievances within 48 hours and aims to resolve them within 30 days.
